We welcome you to join our team of caring, passionate and motivated individuals as a Co-Occuring Specialist in our Counseling and Wellness Center. About Acenda Integrated Health

As a non-profit organization, we are solely committed to our mission of moving lives forward. Acenda provides over 100 life-enhancing programs and services to individuals, families, and communities throughout New Jersey. By bringing together our bright teams, innovative services, and understanding, caring hearts, we as an organization are moving upward to move lives forward. We join together to provide a wide range of mental health, crisis services, parenting support, family-focused therapy, and residential programming.

How You Can Make An Impact

Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) is an intensive, team-based behavioral health service that offers individualized support in the community to people with serious mental health conditions and high service needs. PACT assists individuals in their recovery from mental health conditions and in developing fulfilling lives, as well as increasing their time and engagement in community settings rather than institutions such as hospitals and jails.

As part of a multi-disciplinary, core services team, the Co-Occurring Specialist provides assessment and direct service to individuals with seriously and persistently mentally ill individuals enrolled in the PACT Program. The Co-Occurring Specialist will assess history and current needs of the client, work with the PACT team to develop integrated mental health and substance use treatment goals and provide clinical leadership for the PACT staff area of dual disorders treatment.
