Sub-Regional Senior Adviser South Central Asia

NRC is looking for a seasoned analytical, influential, and strategic leader to join the Asia Europe Latin America Regional Office as a Senior Regional Advisor South Central Asia. If you are someone who enjoys supporting the capacity development of cross-cutting themes; and leading on programmatic development, donor relations, and monitoring and evaluation initiatives, then this is the role for you!

What You Will Do

• Sub-regional expertise on South Central Asia.
• Strategic programme development advice and support.
• Assessments, evaluations and analysis of programmes, and of trends in the region for evidence for advocacy and projects.
• Resource mobilisation and relation building focal point, and representation with donors.
• Best practice and lessons learned endorsement.
• Advocacy efforts for the sub-region.

What You Will Bring

• South Central Asia experience and knowledge (including the political, economic, cultural, environmental, and geo-political context).
• Manager/Adviser experience in a humanitarian/recovery context.
• Assessments and strategic programme developments knowledge and background.
• Expert adviser credibility, with a track record in guiding and influencing senior decision makers.
• English fluency, both written and verbal.
