In this role you will be based in Greenford, West London, in a beautifully refurbished building within a brand new office space.

The Student Recruitment Advisor is responsible for promoting and selling the programs of the University to potential students, responding to enquiries from potential students on various courses, and identifying the appropriate courses to meet their goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Making outbound calls to convert prospective student (warm) leads into applications for study.
  • Developing and sustaining solid relationships with prospective students and company stakeholders.
  • Reaching out to prospective students who have submitted an interest in our courses, with the aim of supporting them through the application process, through to enrolment.
  • Handling inbound enquiries from multiple channels, including telephone, email and web chat.
  • Analysing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services, managing complaints accordingly and in a timely manner, escalating where needed and following GBS complaint procedure.
  • Ensure customer data is recorded accurately and in a timely fashion into all appropriate systems.
  • Support the development of the student journey by identifying and reporting back on issues and trends.
  • Travel to other GBS campuses may be required from time to time, in accordance with business need.

Requirements

  • Able to communicate effectively, with empathy, by phone, face to face and in writing.
  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment.
  • Commitment to providing a first-class service to students.
  • Experience of working positively and effectively with others.
  • Able to receive and process information quickly and accurately under time pressure.
  • Well-developed skills in organising self (tasks, priorities, and time)
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and management skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Detail-oriented.
