About The Role

You will join our stronger families service as a key worker, delivering and coordinating, multi-agency, evidenced based interventions to help and support children and families within one of our 3 localities.

The role will provide you with opportunities to work with children, young people and families, in their communities in partnership with a range of other professionals and agencies.

You will manage a caseload of families with complex and varying needs, including parenting support, family violence, mental health, substance misuse, early identification of special needs, disengagement of education and risk of poverty and criminality.

You will be working within a dedicated and experienced team, finding family strengths and building on them, as well as engaging with the local community.

About You

You will be a compassionate and motivated practitioner, with experience of working with vulnerable families and a good understanding of social care, education and health services. You will also have a good knowledge of safeguarding and an understanding of hpw positve change can happen with families facing a range of challenges.
