We are looking for a high-performing Strategy Lead (m/f/d) for our Debt Collection & Debt Purchase Business Unit with excellent strategy consulting and execution skills to support our Business Unit Lead and our fin tech product fields on our strong growth path. The person we are looking for will be part of our Business Unit Management team as well as the Strategy team and will report directly to the CSO (Chief Strategy Officer).

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead the development of Debt Collection & Debt Purchase Business Unit strategies in all relevant dimensions (Target customers, products, regional expansions, branding, sales channels, partner management, innovation areas, people & skills, etc.)
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and revenue streams based on systematic trend scouting in alignment with product management and sales
• Empower the sustainable implementation of Business Unit strategies
• Ongoing basis review strategy to execution gap, and determine actions and opportunities for improvement and course correction
• Support management on decision-making processes related to opportunity evaluation, go-to market and organizational effectiveness
• Manage selected interdisciplinary projects in the environment of strategy development, implementation and transformation; support selected M&A transactions
• Monitor and manage strategic targets/ projects/ KPIs
• Support the operationalization of goals and translating strategies into operational budgets and activities
• Align product strategies and their execution with Corporate and other Business Units
• Manage internal and external stakeholders proactively and engage in knowledge exchange within strategic management, innovation and business development communities

Needed Skills:

• Team player used to work in cross-functional settings
• >5 years of relevant job experience in B2B2C strategy; additional D2C experience as a plus
• FinTech market and product knowhow (debt collection); consulting experience as a plus
• High methodological skills, extraordinary structured way of working and efficient problem solving ability combined with a hands-on attitude
• An energetic, confident and positive personality with high entrepreneurial drive and strong focus on building impactful strategies; great in building rapport and trust with stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent moderation and communication skills in both verbal and written German and English
