The Asia Displacement Solutions Platform (ADSP) is a joint initiative of the Danish Refugee Council, International Rescue Committee and Norwegian Refugee Council, which aims to contribute to the development of innovative transitional solutions for protracted displaced populations in Asia. Drawing upon its members’ operational presence in the region, the ADSP engages in constructive dialogue, research, and evidence-based advocacy initiatives, to support improved outcomes for displaced populations.

We now seek a strategy consultant to begin August 2022. Application deadline is Monday August 1st 2022, 18:00, GMT+1, promptly.

The strategy consultant will facilitate the development of a Theory of Change and 2023-2025 Strategy for ADSP, along with a monitoring and evaluation plan. This includes a clear logic and link between the Theory of Change, and how this will serve to deliver ADSP’s mission. The purpose of this consultancy is to develop an implementable strategic methodology, and support and lead ADSP staff, partners, and stakeholders in a participatory planning process, ensuring a sense of ownership and engaging meaningfully with all stakeholders. The substantive outcome is a Theory of Change, and a three-year strategic plan for the period 2023-2025.

Qualifications

  • The successful applicant will have extensive experience working on issues of displacement in Asia, with experience across ADSP’s focus countries preferable
  • Documented previous experience of engagement with NGOs, INGOs, governments, international organisations and consortia / platforms.
  • Academic degrees in law, social sciences or other related fields
  • Sound understanding of networks, consortiums, and regional groupings
  • Prior experience conducting Strategy Development and Theory of Change processes, especially in relation to networks and multi-partner platforms.
  • Understanding of participatory approaches to management and operations
  • Proficiency in written English is mandatory
