The role:

Oxfam Great Britain is looking for a Strategy Coordinator – Rights Resilience Response and Humanitarian. What we are looking for:

Our Strategy Coordinator – Rights Resilience Response and Humanitarian will support the the development and delivery of the RRR workstream as a cross-organisational initiative, working with the Lead to hold the timeline and deliverables, monitoring and managing gaps, interdependencies and risks. The job holder will lead the management and reporting of financial flows, coordinate an internal communications and engagement plan and provide a link between the Oxfam humanitarian response and public facing teams in Oxfam GB to ensure smooth coordination and alignment. We are looking for an experienced project manager and team player to act as a focal point, develop and maintain information management systems and to represent the workstream in internal and external humanitarian forums.

We offer:

This role will give you an opportunity to support Oxfam’s work on Rights, Resilience, and Response (RRR) as a key contributor and enabler of humanitarian response funding and focal point driving forward the Oxfam GB RRR workstream. You will work with a group of passionate people that are seeking to address the systemic root causes of conflict and fragility. Oxfam GB also offers training and development, a fair pay and competitive benefits package.

We place a high priority on ensuring that only those who share and demonstrate our values are recruited to work for us.

The post holder will undertake the appropriate level of training and is responsible for ensuring that they understand and work within the safeguarding policies of the organisation.

All offers of employment will be subject to satisfactory references and appropriate screening checks, which can include criminal records and terrorism finance checks. Oxfam GB also participates in the Inter Agency Misconduct Disclosure Scheme. In line with this Scheme, we will request information from job applicants’ previous employers about any findings of sexual exploitation, sexual abuse and/or sexual harassment during employment, or incidents under investigation when the applicant left employment.
