Strategic Partnerships Coordinator

Location – Manchester City Centre

Starting salary – £34,572 per annum (plus contributory pension)

MAG shared the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize as a founding member of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines for our work to ban landmines. We are looking for an exceptional Strategic Partnerships Coordinator to work within our Policy and Strategic Partnerships team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic international charity that shared the 1997 Nobel Peace-Prize.

You will be working with the Strategic Partnerships Manager to deliver initiatives designed to ensure the strategic and tactical growth of the organisation through partnership development, business development and stakeholder engagement. You will provide support to the team to identify opportunities for new partnerships and funding mechanisms and support with the development of briefing documents and other materials to support programmes and external MAG engagement.

You will also provide administrative support to the team to ensure contracts and partnership MOUs are reviewed, signed and saved in line with organisational guidance and partner requirements.

The successful candidate will have a proven track recording meeting targets and deadlines and an ability to build, manage and develop relationships with key stakeholders. Excellent coordination, administration and communication skills will also be essential.

The role will involve travel in the UK, Europe and Internationally, often at short notice to attend donor meetings and programme visits approximately 20% of the time.
