Role Description/Impact

We are currently looking for a driven and enthusiastic strategic account professional to join a growing enterprise sales team. The team has a focus on growing the Marketing Cloud business across the Retail vertical. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will drive business opportunities through the end to end sales cycle engaging with senior business and IT executives within the assigned customer base. You will manage a small number of strategic accounts; creating additional opportunities and acquiring net new customers. You will be working in a fast paced, innovative and growing environment.

Your Impact

  • You will work with our top Retail customers within the UK market to digitally transform their business
  • You will manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on dive new opportunities in both existing and new client accounts
  • Working with your Business Development Representative to drive Pipeline
  • Create and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure over-achievement within the designated market sector(s).
  • Engage with prospect organisations to position salesforce solutions through strategic value based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, references and analyst data.
  • Manage the end to end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources such as Sales Engineers, Product Specialists, Professional Services, Executives, Partners etc.
  • Regular updates of the salesforce.com system with accurate customer and pipeline data.
  • Accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasting and revenue delivery.

Your Qualifications

Proven track record of selling to C-level, ideally enterprise marketing technology sales into accounts of more than 2000 employees. You will have 5+ years of quota carrying software, technology or business sales experience.
