Position Overview: In this engaging support role, the Specialist, Store Operations champions Papa Murphy’s commitment to quality, service, integrity, and teamwork by:

  • Using business analytics and strategic thinking to partner with franchise owners to drive their business, conducting Brand Standard Assessment visits for stores within appropriate timeframes.
  • Supporting New Owners (transfers) during the 1st week of store openings with store operations and PMI systems, ensuring brand standards are being implemented.
  • Supporting new Franchise Owners with organizing and training crew members and store managers in-store during new store openings or as needed.
  • Training Franchise Owners on topics to include, but not limited to, Papa Murphy’s operating systems, point-of-sale system, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Partnering with field teams to improve the operations and performance of existing stores.
  • Analyzing insights from data in SMG, Steritech, Menulink, and ProfitKeeper to identify areas of opportunity for existing stores.
  • Tracking and monitoring new store openings dates.
  • Planning and managing any necessary store visits, keeping travel costs within budget.

What you bring to the table:

  • Positive and outgoing personality with strengths in empathy and problem solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and Franchise Owners
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
  • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to motivate and influence others in order to achieve desired results
  • Ability to analyze insights from data to positively impact a store environment
  • Ability to travel up to 75% with overnight stays required.
  • Ideal candidate will reside in one of the following markets-Minneapolis MN, Salt Lake City UT, Denver CO, Portland, OR or Seattle, WA

Foundations of your career:

  • 5+ years of experience in Food serve / store management – multi-unit management is a plus
  • ServSafe® certified
  • Strong computer skills, including prior experience using Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Experience working in Tableau, preferred but not required
