Responsibilities For The Staff Accountant

Responsible for all accounting functions including payroll using BQE CORE and Excel

Month-end closing procedures and work with outside CPA firm regarding financial statements, taxes, and compliance

Prepare budgets and variances along with creating schedules and recommending corrective actions

Accounts receivable and payable

Payroll for 30 including a few commissioned salespeople using ADP Total Source

Bank reconciliations

Benefits administration

Qualifications

ERP of some sort and MS Office Suite

Bachelor’s Degree

Payroll And Benefits Experience Is a Must

3-4 year’s accounting experience, preferably in a small firm
