Background:

Relief Experts Association -UDER (Yardim Uzmanlari Yardimlaşma ve Kalkinma Derneği) is a humanitarian organization registered in Turkey to provide multisector humanitarian assistance in Turkey and other countries. Relief Experts Association started its operations in Turkey and northern Syria in 2018 with focus on health and community support. Relief Experts Association main projects cover health, protection and livelihood in northwest Syria.

SRH/GBV Coordinator (national female applicants only)
She is responsible for all technical aspects of SRH/GBV components of UDER’s projects. The scope of the work includes close coordination with the project team and partners, training the project staff, following-up of the implementation of SRH/GBV activities, and evaluating the processes and the approach.

Responsibilities
• Follow-up on GBV and SRH activities on a day-to-day basis to ensure the effective and accountable management of GBV and SRH projects.
• Set plans for SRH/GBV activities.
• Effectively communicate with the project team, partners, and coordination groups.
• Ensure proper documentation and compilation of SRH/GBV data.
• Ensure all SRH/GBV internal and external reports (weekly, monthly, interim and final) are submitted within agreed timeframes to the relevant stakeholders.
• Work closely with other departments on all issues related to SRH/GBV activities.
• Ensure achieving program goals of SRH/GBV activities, which includes supportive supervision, training, and capacity building of staff.
• Ensure strict adherence to the GBV and SRH guiding principles, respect and apply all the PSEA principles, and show high commitment to report any SEA action.
• Oversee and ensure proper use of the referral pathway in the provision of GBV services.
• Ensure that all GBV and SRH workers have specific and communicated tasks and roles.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related topic, preferably in a medical or social sciences.
• 1 year of professional experience in GBV and SRH projects, preferably projects implemented in northwest Syria.
• Very good level

• Excellent English and Arabic verbal and written proficiency is a must.
• Demonstrates strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well as a part of a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team.
• Proven team-working and team-support skills.
• Ability to plan and organize her working time efficiently.
• Ability to meet a demanding and dynamic work schedule.
• Patience and the ability to maintain excellent partner/donor relations.
• Ability to work under pressure, and adapt to rapidly changing contexts.
