The Sr. Supply Chain Finance Analyst is responsible for providing the organization with actionable data to support critical business decisions. The Sr. Supply Chain Finance Analyst will support the VP of Finance – Supply Chain, and the greater supply chain organization, to harness big data across multiple data sources and work across all business functions and locations to influence profit increasing initiatives and projects.

Essential Job Duties

  • Responsible for Cost Take Out tracking, vetting, & reporting (transactional and executive level)
  • Execute analysis to determine accurate costs, and business/customer/project profitability
  • Coordinate, execute, and communicate insights from complex financial modeling
  • Prioritize greatest impact initiatives, short-term and strategic, to improve product profitability and cost structure
  • Work across functions and locations to obtain appropriate data for analysis
  • Participate in setting the organization vision for leveraging data in decisions
  • Develop and support one-source-of-data-truth within the organization
  • Act as back up for fixed asset accounting processes and systems (FAS and Finario)
  • Support plant controllers in the summarization, consolidation and review of annual budget
  • Develop processes to streamline financial closing processes
  • Support the supply chain organization, including but not restricted to procurement, sales, logistics, manufacturing, R&D, and finance

Requirements

  • Hunger to understand a new and complex data environment/business
  • Outside-the-box thinking and analysis in an inconsistent data environment (structured and potentially un-structured data)
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts at a summarized or executive level
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete assigned tasks timely
  • Broad ERP familiarity a plus, knowledge of analysis software systems specifically but not limited to PowerBI, Alteryx, SAP, Infor/LX, Tableau, others
  • Advanced Excel computer skills
  • Basic financial statement familiarity
  • Ability to perform analysis and draw conclusions from data
  • Attention to detail is key
  • Desire to question and streamline current processes and procedures
  • Motivational manager of processes
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
  • CPA or CMA designation a plus
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Programming language familiarity a plus (Python, C++, etc.) a plus
