Job Summary

This is a business partner role to West commercial stakeholders (Executive and Senior leaders, Marketing, Sales) to develop the understanding of our customers, markets, and competitors through establishment of operating mechanisms, delivery of business analytics and overall integration of proactive insights and implications as the foundation for decision-making. He/she will translate information into insights and implications for West business as a contributor to key strategic and M&A diligence projects, drive competitive and market analysis, lead insight generation/market research to inform product portfolio strategy, enter new markets, and achieve growth and profitability goals by product and market segments. This role will employ analytical best practices to study and assess the global West environment across markets, customer competitors, disruptions, technologies, adjacencies, and economic factors and articulate industry, market, and emerging trends and how they may affect global West business.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Analyze and monitor current and future West markets to provide accurate and up-to-date market segmentation and sizing and track trends leading to predictive insights and opportunities to transform the marketplace and accelerate West’s business growth.
  • The candidate will analyze trends in complex global data sets, financial data, population health, and other healthcare sources to dimension market dynamics and measure their impact on West as well as implement improvements to forecasts, market analyses, and ensure best-in-class insights.
  • As a trusted business partner, cultivate transparent and robust working relationships across the organization, ensuring open communication about works in progress across the organizationgrating, supporting, and leading where appropriate
  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity and stepping outside of his/her comfort zone and show initiative
  • Excellent analytical, project management and planning skills with the ability to learn quickly and multitask effectively
  • Collaborate and guide development of others in this practice area
  • Other duties as assigned
