What You’ll Achieve

As a Sr Digital Services Analytics Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering analytical insights to provide actionable recommendations to influence Digital Services/Services IT product development and to optimize user experience by considering the speed, stability, and user behaviors of the website. You will work with data engineers, data scientists, architects, application product managers, software developers, UX designers, and business partners to build solutions to improve user experience and application performance.

You will:

  • Lead cross-functional engagements to define problem statements, establish KPIs, collect/process data, build analytical models, evaluate models, develop self-service analytics solutions, and make/present actionable recommendations to leaders
  • Develop, manage, and deliver on analytics roadmap for applications used by Dell customer support agents and/or service field agents, while always identifying new opportunities and prioritization recommendations
  • Design strategic data science projects and break complex problems into smaller actionable tasks

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or master degree with 6+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, business analytics, or data science
  • Strong analytics capabilities and excellent analytical problem-solving techniques with the ability to deal with large volumes of data and data cleaning
  • Experience with SQL/Hadoop Hive, Kibana/Elasticsearch, Python/R, data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or D3.js), Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey analytic insights effectively to both IT and business leaders

Desirable Requirements

  • Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Engineering Degree from top schools is preferred
  • Experience with web analytics tools, such as Adobe Site Catalyst/Data Workbench or Google Analytics is preferred
