Here’s where you come in:

As the SQL Server Database Administrator, you usually support one or more databases of low to medium complexity (complexity defined by database size, technology used, and system feeds and interfaces) with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility of the data. You will work on one or more projects as a team member.

You will design, install, maintain and upgrade the enterprise’s databases (development, testing, and production). You will provide technical expertise in the use of database technology and are accountable for the overall performance of the enterprise’s database environment. You will work closely with business and system analysts and solution developers to define and resolve information flow and content issues—helping to transform business requirements into environment specific databases.

Requirements include:

  • At least 1–3 years of Microsoft SQL Server (v. 2012 and above) database administration experience.
  • Experience in stakeholder management.
  • Basic knowledge of database management systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in programming/systems, computer science, information systems, or mathematics, specialized training, certification or equivalent work experience.
  • Good communications skills.
