Systems Technician – Network

The Systems Technician works in support of the Core and Support team in tasks relating to the selection, installation, configuration, management and operation of technology infrastructure. The Systems Technician works to provide leadership and oversight to the Core team and technology support staff and manages assigned technology related projects. The work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Technology with leeway allowed for the exercise of independent technical judgment in the performance of the work.

Job Specific Responsibilities:

Network Support
Provide Level 2 Support
Manage District Cell phones, Mobile Hot spots and CardDav Server
Support of Smart Panels/Interactive Projectors/A/V Equipment
Technology Integration training/Professional Development
Prepare and maintain written documentation
Assist in the installation, configuration and administration of IPad’s and JAMF
Facilitate media presentations at evening meetings of the district Board of Director
Provide support at evening meetings of the district Board of Directors
Provide Support for all MAC/Apple related equipment
Assist in management of Inventory and Fresh Service 
Responsibilities Common to All Technology Operations and Support Staff

Support staff development and training on new technology
Create and update problem records in the District’s support tracking system
Escalate unresolved problems to technical subject matter experts and/or supervisor
Assist with maintaining District computer inventory data
Provide your own transportation for travel between district buildings throughout the work day
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology or designee

Compensation: 

Salary: $40,000.00-$45,000.00

Hours: 8AM-4PM, 12-months, 260-262 days
