Freedom Leisure are seeking casual Sport Coaches to join our friendly and professional team.
We are looking for experienced coaches to deliver sport and activity sessions as and when required at Burntwood It is essential that the successful candidates bring experience of sports coaching & ideally have experience of working with or coaching children and young people as the role includes supporting holiday activity camps. Level 1 or 2 National Governing Body qualification, or equivalent, is required for this post as well as a valid first aid certificate & a safeguarding certificate. Please note a DBS check will be completed upon successful appointment.
- To represent Freedom Leisure to deliver/assist sport & activity sessions across a range of communities
- To plan/to support, prepare and deliver high quality multi-sports & activity sessions to all ages but predominantly children & young people
- To implement appropriate Health & Safety policies & procedures in order to ensure safe, effective, child friendly environment at all sessions
Hours: Casual hours – as and when needed including holiday periods, school term time, evenings & weekends
Requirements
- UKCC level 1 or 2 coaching qualification/equivalent.
- The ideal candidate will have experience of working with teenagers with a background of social inclusion work
- Experience working in an environment involving customer service, especially involving children and young people, is essential.
- Excellent communication skills
