– Temporary for two years / full time (39 hours per week) –

Your tasks

To ensure the quality of our work, general and plan-specific guidelines and standards must be adopted, maintained, and adapted as necessary, and staff must be trained in tools and procedures and supported in their work processes.

The responsibilities of the position are:

  • Supporting the department in
  • implementing existing processes, standards, and guidelines within the department and for project work (including Institutional Safeguarding, the Core Humanitarian Standard, Child-Friendly Feedback Mechanisms, Do no harm, Project Management)
  • developing and implementing new approaches to promote programme quality
  • Participation in thematic networks at national and international level
  • Organising and in some cases conducting training for staff members
  • Preparation of orientation aids and document templates to support staff in the implementation of programme content
  • Support for internal departmental knowledge management

Your profile

  • Successfully completed university degree with relevant field of study
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in project and knowledge management
  • Experience in development cooperation and/or humanitarian aid abroad is desirable
  • Experience in designing and implementing training programmes
  • Ability to work independently and with initiative, quick comprehension, and ability to work under pressure
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Very good written and spoken German and English, further language skills (French and / or Spanish) would be an advantage
  • Ability to work in tropical regions and willingness to travel occasionally on official business
