The HRIS Specialist serves as the subject matter expert and technical point of contact for HR information system (HRIS) to support the system structure design, implementation and maintenance of all HR related systems in Hayco DR. The role works closely with other subject matter experts in HR and IT to ensuring employee data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The role also acts as a crucial member in training system users and developing, improving and maintaining procedures.

Job Responsibilities

· Serve as the subject matter expert for all HR and people related key process and systems used in Hayco DR and collaborate with global HR seamlessly.

· Responsible for converting key HR requirements into system solutions, languages and requirements.

· Based on business needs, work with HR leaders and HRBP to identify opportunities for system generated analysis and reports to facilitate business decision, e.g. attendance data daily, weekly and historical data with breakdown information/graphics, people cost and productivity data, turnover analysis, “live” headcount per classification/area/dept, etc.

· Lead HR team to conduct HR process and audit exercise to ensure employee data accuracy and timeliness. Make recommendations to process and data owners for continuous improvement in minimizing employee data issues for timely and accurate data management.

· Troubleshoot system errors and issues as they arise and assess options for resolution. Test and implement Hyper care solutions.

· Research and resolve inquiries from HR key users, managers, end users, third party providers and others

· Analyze data flow to, from, and within HR to identify, document and partner with HR global and country teams to implement process improvements

· Train key users and end users on system functionality, develop and maintain procedures, guidelines, and documentation for HR systems

· Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports and ad hoc queries collaborating with HR team and or consolidate as needed to eliminate and or minimize double reporting.

· Keep abreast of knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources and ensures policies, procedures and reporting comply

· Lead/participate HRIS projects with guidance from country and global HR

· Provide back-up support for payroll and benefit related functions such as reporting and tool application, recommend digital solutions to help fix process and system issues in the payroll and benefits areas

· Carry out any other ad hoc duties

Job Requirements

· University Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering with 5 – 6 years solid experience in HRIS related to HR systems, system analysis, human resources, project management

· English as second language.

· Demonstrated hands-on experience with HRIS applications such as SAP Success Factors, Kronos, EQMS Master Control preferred, Tableau or Power BI

· Experience in managing system implementation projects end to end and skilled at translating HR objectives and needs into technical requirements and vice versa

· Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with reporting writing tools preferred

· Knowledge of human resources function as well as labor laws and regulations of DR

· Exceptional analytical skills and detail orientation

· Ability to apply reason, logic, and advanced problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.

· Self-driven with high energy level

· Ability to work with deadlines in a high-volume environment

· Ability to work independently and proactively with good multitasking skills

· Strong sense of responsibility and reliability

· Professional written communication skills

· Good verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with associates at all levels and a wide range of business partners.

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment
