This is an exciting role where you will learn to use market insights and data analysis to work with different partners to start and shape new market trends. You will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for spend categories and support the continuous improvement and standardization of the strategic sourcing processes

How You Will Contribute

You support spend category teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies for specific spend categories. To excel in this role, you interact with cross-functional stakeholders to manage spend and market analytics (for example, conducting “make or buy” analyses). You also generate insights from bid events, prepare supplier negotiation materials, support project execution and supplier relationship management, and drive controls and compliance.

The Sourcing Manager – Marketing Agencies is a member of the AMEA (Asia, Middle East & Africa) Marketing Agencies Supplier Management team, which is part of the Global Marketing & Sales Supplier Management organization.

The role reports into the AMEA Marketing & Sales Supplier Management Lead and is an individual contributor role.

This role is in charge of:

  • strategic sourcing, supplier and internal stakeholder management for all marketing services (e.g. advertising/creative services, advertising production, brand PR, influencer marketing services, endorsements and sponsorships) for 1 or 2 Mondelēz Business Units (BUs)
  • coordinate strategic sourcing initiatives at AMEA level for a given type of marketing services

Other responsibilities include:

  • deliver on annual savings and cash-flow-improvement targets;
  • understand Mondelēz current and future business needs in assigned BUs, and translate them into deliverables for this role and the Supplier Management organization;
  • lead/contribute to industry analyses and supplier analyses as required;
  • manage supplier performance and various supplier relationship management programs;
  • prepare and execute local bids as required;
  • lead local negotiations and put local agreements in place as required;
  • ensure compliance with Mondelēz policies and guidelines;
  • lead/support regional/global initiatives as required.

Required

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing roles, with skills in sourcing strategy development.
  • Multiple years of experience in managing strategic suppliers.
  • Multiple years of experience in partnering with and influencing senior internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a multinational (ideally global) and multicultural environment.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization and collaborating with different functions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.

Preferred

  • Experience in Strategic Sourcing of Services, ideally Marketing Services.
  • Master or Post-Graduate Degree, ideally in Business Administration.
