About You And This Role

We have an exciting opening for a Sourcing Manager (m/f/d) located in Horgen, Switzerland, supporting the Consumer Solutions business.

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in defining and leveraging sourcing opportunities, aligning sourcing strategies, nurturing supplier relationships, conducting thorough market analyses, and negotiating with both external suppliers and internal partners within the raw materials business in North America and EMEAI. Your efforts will be instrumental in optimizing sustained value for Dow, ensuring our continued success and growth in the global marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize business acumen and best practices to influence stakeholders and drive market value
  • Negotiate, execute, and implement commercial agreements and related work processes in line with strategies within the commercial area or geography.
  • Enhance the team’s performance through influential leadership
  • Manage portfolios and stakeholders effectively
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to control and sustain value delivery
  • Acts as the business’s regional procurement focal point
  • Demonstrate expertise and discipline in functional work processes

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Business, Finance).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Fluency in English and the ability to convey complex or sensitive information effectively.
