Sourcing Manager

I am Karri Virkajärvi and I am leading Finland & Baltics Sourcing team. We are an integrated, cross-functional team, consisting of highly skilled sourcing professionals who operate in deep collaboration with all of our stakeholders, suppliers and colleagues. I am looking for a (Senior) Sourcing Manager to join our fantastic team in Vilnius, Lithuania.

As a part of Telia Sourcing, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, as well as collaboration and relations development with our internal stakeholders to meet Telia Company’s business needs. We strive to increase customer satisfaction and add sustainable value to our Company by acting as a trusted adviser to business in relation to sourcing, securing supply of products and services with the right Quality, Service Levels, Technology and Total Cost of Ownership.

Main areas of responsibilities:

In this role, you will focus on working with Telia Lithuania stakeholders and colleagues across our international Sourcing organization to cover wide range of services for Telia internal use:

• Liaise with our business stakeholders to identify business development opportunities to maximize value and minimize waste
• Manage and execute sourcing initiatives
• Conduct supplier management activities and coach stakeholders to use Telia supplier relationships the right way
• Contribute to category management work
• Contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing processes and practices, both locally in Lithuania and on the group level

You will have the opportunity to influence your own work content as well as the way we work in Telia Company Sourcing, in collaboration with and with the support of your colleagues.

Who are you?

As a starting point, you obviously have a relevant degree and solid experience in sourcing. We also appreciate a curious mind and strategic thinking, but most importantly – you see the value in collaboration across the organization.

Your personality and competences:

• You have business acumen to engage with your stakeholders to create value with them through sourcing
• You like planning on short term and developing roadmaps for long term success, but are not afraid to change the plans when circumstances change
• You like to develop relationships to establish credibility and trust, and to create value through collaboration
• You are a good communicator, seeking first to understand and then to be understood

Your Experience:

• Demonstrated skills in sourcing or similar role
• Great communication skills and fluent English and Lithuanian, both written and spoken
• Excellent negotiation, indirect influencing, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Experience in one or more of the following areas is considered an asset: finance, legal, security, real estate and facility management
