Our client, a globally leading supplier in medical/safety products, for both consumer and commercial use.
As the business is growing aggressively, they are currently seeking an additional headcount of Sourcing Manager to support the Asia market and it will be a home-based role.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Marketing team to implement sourcing strategies for Asia’s (ex-China) supply base
- Ensure sourcing strategy and vendor negotiations aligns with company’s business requirements
- Source & develop new vendors and new products
- Evaluate and optimise vendor pool
- Oversee Product team, Supply Chain team, and Quality Assurance team
- Monitor everyday operations from supplier management, to negotiations to quality assurance
Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Business or related subjects
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Product Management
- Buying office experience preferred
- Cutting & Safety products experience is an advantage
- Strong track record in sourcing across South Asia countries
- Experience in working with North America or European retailers
- Strong factory base and vendor base
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English & Mandarin
- Proficient in Excel and Word Processing
- Willingness to travel
