A renowned, tech-savvy fincrime AI-technology platform is searching for outstanding Pre-Sales Consultant to join their expanding team in London. The business has grown by over 600% in the last 4 years and has been the recipient of many awards and accolades for their pioneering approach to data science and machine learning.

Working hand-in-hand with the brightest (and, they would argue, most fun!) team in the business, this role highly impactful and one in which is a key player in the organisation. This position requires a strong balance of commercial and technical acumen to support the delivery of revenue to the business at the early stages of the sales cycle, fundamentally facilitating growth for the company’s ambitious plans.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding prospective clients’ diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs
  • Assisting in customer POCs, RFXs, RFPs and proposals to support timely completion by the sales team as well as delivering presentations, customised demos, workshops and scoping sessions
  • Build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted advisor to all of their needs
  • Preparing and delivering presentations and demonstrations of all of the Company’s solutions, articulately and confidently
  • Drive opportunities through the sales stages until internal handover to implementation and embrace negotiation skills to overcome varied timeline challenges
  • Create a compelling vision during pitches to senior managers and stakeholders on the customer side during meetings, workshops and presentations – this will entail adapting the material and demonstration to suit the audience
  • Provide enablement, support and training to the commercial team and following opportunities through to closure and subsequent delivery

Qualifications

  • Strong STEM degree from a top tier university
  • Deep knowledge and/or SME in fraud and financial crime, having either sold-to or worked in a bank and/or financial services organisation
  • Experience selling/integrating software products to financial institutions
  • Deep technical awareness as part of software sales discussions
  • Strong experience delivering world-class software presentations, writing RFPs, PoCs and delivering engaging demos
  • A strong understanding of analytical techniques including statistical modelling and Machine Learning
  • A strong ability to engage with different roles in the internal business such as sales, accounts, technical, SMEs
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills; any other European language considered a bonus
