Sanctuary Personnel have an exciting Locum opportunity available for an experienced Social Worker to join a well-established Children’s service based in Knowsley.

Team/Specialism: Children’s Social Worker – MASH Team

Pay Rate: £37.72 per hour (assignment rate)

Contract: 3-Months

Hours: Full-time

Requirements Of The Social Worker

• Degree or equivalent in social work
• Current Social Work England registration
• Significant frontline experience in Children’s Services

Job Brief

• CP transfer point at first hearing! This is very different to others and people should be told this its such a good transfer point
• Support as we would for any permanent member of staff, via training and supervision (including Signs Of Safety training)
• FREE Parking
• Permanent Team Manager Group within CP and CLA
• Average case load in CP on Friday was 18.5
• Full IT to a high standard
• Hybrid working – 2 days in the office
• Support services in Knowsley including however, not extensive: Family Group Conference, Edge of Care intensive support, Family Support, CE specialist Teams, MASH that is well established, Fully functional Early Help Offer and MST
• Robust senior leadership support from visible leaders
• Recently audited by peers and received high praise in relation to PLO and actions that the LA take to safeguard
