Sanctuary Personnel have an exciting Locum opportunity available for an experienced Social Work MASH Coordinator to join a well-established Children’s service based in Thornbury.

Pay Rate: £351.41 per day

Contract: Locum, 3-Months

Hours: Full-time

Duties

  • Co-ordinate a high-quality Multi-agency Safeguarding Hub working with a range of partners within the safeguarding network
  • Lead and guide the development of services to ensure the best provision and outcomes for children, young people and families
  • Support, champion and challenge professional practice and ensure the young person’s voice is heard and is integral to Strategic planning
  • Integrate research and audit findings and work with the Service Manager, ART and Service Manager for Children’s Improvement on findings and improvement to practice, to develop and review the MASH offer
  • Be a role model for best practice and will maintain knowledge of leading-edge best practice through research, review and personal development
  • Work creatively with children, young people, families and partner agencies to up-date, review and ensure the MASH offer meets the needs of children, young people and families, and remains up-to-date and relevant
  • Work in partnership with police, education, health partners, housing colleagues and other partners to develop and maintain MASH in South Gloucestershire to ensure children and young people get the right help, support and protection

Requirements Of The MASH Coordinator

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Significant frontline experience in Children’s Services
