The International Institute for Human Security (IIHS) is peacebuilding NGO focused on advancing six key areas of human security, known as Societal Stabilizers, through advocacy and programs. The focus areas of the IIHS are Good Governance, Women, Migrants & Victims of Modern-Day Slavery, Food Security, The Responsibility to Protect, Climate Protection, and Indigenous Rights.

Serving as Volunteer Social Media Specialist, you will develop content around the UN Days, SDGs, activities of the IIHS for active social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook while working closely with the ED and Head of Programming.
Competencies include:
Familiarity with Buffer, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter
· Excellent writing, proofreading and copywriting skills
· Interest and background in international affairs, the SDGs, and personal passion toward one of the six focus areas
· Strong work ethic and professionalism (ability to meet deadlines and reliability a must)
· Bilingual in French considered a bonus
· Experience and/or desire work with international remote team
