Ensure healthy stocks are maintained always,
Observe fast-moving items, allocate space, and coordinate with the Purchase Team to make decisions regarding future orders
Notify Purchase Team to place orders before items reach re-order levels
Coordinate with purchase team for local and import orders and keep all the information up to date
Receive materials supplied by vendors as per the purchase order placed
Make arrangements for off-load incoming shipments and loading of export shipments
Check materials thoroughly for quality, quantity, specification, condition etc.
Categorize items and stock in appropriate locations, suggest management where to improve, and how
Pass bills of materials received from vendor and sent to Accounts Department for payment process
Make sure all the parcels are ready in advance for inter-company requests, online orders, sales orders, etc.
Make periodical checks between system and actual stock and investigate any discrepancies and report to the Manager immediately
Ensure accurate accounting and control of all inward and outward materials
Manage all personnel at the stores and be aware of accident prevention and help enforce safe working conditions
Make a plan for arranging staff for re-filling of chemicals
Review inventories for obsolete and slow-moving items and bring any such items to the attention of the Manager for action
Ensure that the store is always maintained up to date in all respects and in a presentable condition
