Service Manager

Your responsibilities

In the Service Manager position you are responsible for processing spare parts requests, organizing revision and maintenance contracts, as well as optimization and revamping projects for existing Hitachi Zosen Inova Steinmüller, and third-party waste incineration plants.

In detail this includes:

• Processing of spare parts requests for purchased and HZI own components
• Processing of revision orders/creation of revision offers and revision documentation
• Coordination of the procurement and delivery of spare parts
• Carrying out brief inspections on site at the customer’s premises and joint determination of the need for spare parts and the forthcoming grate revisions and component maintenance
• Cooperation with the customer in identifying weak points and determining any need for action, involving the specialist department and, depending on the requirement, developing suggestions for improvement
• Implementation of optimization and modernization projects

Your experiences

• Boiler Expert and/or Grate Expert
• In-depth knowledge of the structure, function, manufacture and assembly of grate-fired waste incineration plants and the resulting revision activities on the boiler, grate and components
• Knowledge of grate and boiler components and associated components desirable.
• Willingness to further develop/optimize individual trades and to handle conversion projects
• Willingness to field assignments at home and abroad
• Technical English, both written and spoken
• Field service experience on new construction sites and in the auditing business would be desirable
