Senior Testing Associate

The Team: We redefine the customer experience by aiding partner tech teams in testing and shaping Amazon consumer devices. You will be part of a fast paced, energetic and dynamic team that handles testing challenges of various natures. Our test areas are spread across firmware, mobile (iOS and Android), eero Insight and connectivity.

The Role

• You successfully test and act as the point of contact for mid-sized components and features without close managerial supervision
• You create detailed status reports that require minimum intervention from higher level DAs or a manager. You create detailed status reports that require minimum intervention from higher level DAs or a manager
• You raise bugs and related issues beyond defined SOPs/test methods. You provide data, actively follow up, and help to resolve these issues.
• You review new test cases, work instructions, and contribute to improving test coverage and/or processes.
• You contribute to improvements in test processes, communication, or key project metrics (e.g. throughput, quality). You use data to support your recommendations. You are able to work on complex processes/tasks with minimal direction
• You create SOPs based on existing test methods and processes with little assistance from peers or/your manager. You create training modules and share knowledge about testing policies, guidelines, and best practices with your team. You begin to train new DA I peers

Basic Qualifications

• B.E, B.Tech, MSC IT, MCA including 2.5+ year(s) Testing Experience
• Testing Knowledge and QA methodologies
• Strong Analytical Skill
• Strong Communication Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in working with Connectivity related domain
• Experience in testing Tablets, smart TV devices
• B.E, B.Tech, MSC IT, MCA including 2.5+ year(s) Testing Experience
