Senior Test Engineer

Mary’s Meals International is delighted to be recruiting a Senior Test Engineer to join our growing global IT team. Reporting to the IT Applications Lead, in this newly created role, you will have the opportunity to develop our testing framework and strategy; designing, managing and executing both manual and automated testing. This is an amazing opportunity to join our in-house team to shape and develop our test function to ensure the best quality solutions for our global movement.

Working in close collaboration across our IT Applications team and key stakeholders across MMI and our global MM network, you will be working across a variety of global projects, analysing user stories and case requirements and will play a key role in the scoping and planning projects across our movement. You will perform integration, performance and stress testing of client server applications including post release checks and will play a lead role in developing our approach to testing to ensure we are embracing current technology trends to enhance testing methods. This is a very varied role combining test strategy development with operational test activity and offers a great opportunity to create impact.

You will also have the opportunity to:

• Manage tests across multiple environments and channels, including desktop, web and mobile.
• Design and execute all levels of testing including: functional, system, integration, performance and regression.
• Perform a lead role in all agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.

An action orientated self starter, you will bring significant experience of working as a QA or Software Tester and will bring extensive knowledge of both manual and automated test. Skilled in data analysis, you will thrive in a varied delivery focussed role within an Agile environment. The ability to work in collaboration and develop strong working relationships with non-technical stakeholders will be key to success.

You will also bring:

• A practical, hands on approach with the ability to contribute to projects whilst taking personal responsibility for their success
• Robust experience of working with Agile teams and associated tools (Scrum, Jira, Confluence),
• Experience of working with partners and managing 3rd party relationships is essential and experience of assessing 3^rd party software would be beneficial.
• Experience of Salesforce CRM or other similar CRM technologies.
