The Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition leads all aspects of talent acquisition for the company and serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

The Opportunity

The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition develops and implements innovative talent acquisition strategies across all areas of Westland’s business. The Senior Manager ensures that the Talent Acquisition team is focused on high priority needs and rapidly filling positions with high performers. This role coaches the team to build proactive sourcing strategies, drives the adoption and integration of our employer brand and EVP into TA processes/programs, and builds strong relationships across the business.

In This Role You’ll

  • Build a strong working relationship with all hiring Managers, effectively gather information to understand their recruitment needs, both current and future.
  • Provide full cycle recruitment support to guide and influence hiring managers for assigned client group(s). This role will be focused on Leadership roles.
  • Work with the TA team to implement effective sourcing strategies to build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates.
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop organizational talent attraction strategies.
  • Manage Talent Acquisition team; provides regular guidance and direction, develops team and individual goals, meet regularly to assess work and provide feedback, help identify career development opportunities.
  • Proactively stay up to date with best practices, and trends within the Talent Acquisition space and recommend innovative improvements to TA programs, initiatives, and team structure
  • Identify important partnerships and ensure representation at recruitment events / activities, both internally and externally, to drive interest in Westland careers.
  • Lead recruitment related projects and partner with other HR team members on cross-functional HR projects that impact the employee experience (i.e. onboarding).
  • Lead employment branding initiatives to enhance Westland’s brand recognition.
  • Work closely with marketing to ensure all recruitment collateral (job postings, job ads, career fair information) is professional, creative and reflective of Westland’s EVP.
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate more inclusive practices through the recruitment process to capture a diverse workforce. .
  • Proactively manage 3rd party vendor partnerships (i.e. LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Recruitment agencies) to negotiate fees and manage service expectations.
  • Effectively leverage data to identify areas of improvement and help make decisions on recruitment strategies.
  • Manage and regularly evaluates talent acquisition programs and processes to ensure a positive candidate and manager experience.
  • Support integration of acquired companies ensuring new hiring managers are trained on and supported through Westland’s talent acquisition processes

Here’s What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field OR combination of education and equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 8 years progressively more senior/complex full cycle recruitment experience, with at least 5 years’ experience developing recruiting strategies for a division, department, or key positions.
  • At least 3 years of leading and managing a team of recruiters or other professionals is required
  • Ability to lead projects while ensuring service levels are met
  • Ability to influence without authority in order to implement best practices across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Experience managing high-volume talent acquisition/recruiting function covering multiple geographies
  • Experience driving change and implementing creative and best in class talent attraction and acquisition programs
