We are looking for a Senior System Administrator to join our growing IT team. If you are passionate about making a difference and promoting environmental sustainability at a mission-driven organization, we would love to hear from you. This role offers the possibility of a 60-100% workload.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of rationalizing our tooling stack by bringing structure to our account and vendor management, decommissioning old tools, and migrating assets that need to be retained
- Connecting our tooling stack with centralized cloud-based identity management to simplify account management
- Ownership of our disaster recovery policies
- Ownership of our information security risk management and deployment of mitigating actions
- Monitoring and maintenance of our cloud-based tooling & IT infrastructure
- Monitoring and maintenance of our hybrid network
- On- and offboarding of contributors with accounts & devices
- Management of our device portfolio to ensure all our team members can work safely and effectively
- Contributing first-line support for internal IT issues
- Contributing to the operation of our GRC-platform-based ISMS
- Drafting and implementation of policies to support our ISO27001 certification through our GRC platform
- Proactive communication with the management team regarding policy deviations
- Contributing to our InfoSec awareness by educating team members
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proficiency in cloud tooling management
- Experience with identity management, SSO protocols, and related technology (familiarity with Azure AD is highly desirable)
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux server administration, including scripting
- Experience with network (LAN, WAN) and patch management
- Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Digital Ocean, etc.
- Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery systems
- Knowledge of cyber security and data privacy principles
