Here’s where you come in:

As the Senior Staff Care Advisor, you will provide leadership in the overall delivery of staff care services – in assigned areas of responsibility or topics – to the World Vision Partnership including:

  • Providing advice on the overall delivery of staff care services to appropriate key stakeholders and counterparts in global, national, regional and support offices.
  • Providing advice to the Staff Care Director and other Staff Care Unit team members on the development of proactive and responsive staff care and well-being policies, standards and best practices.
  • Developing and advising in the development of proactive and responsive staff care tools and resources for leaders and staff to cope with extreme circumstances and promote healthy workplaces.
  • Contributing towards leading and designing staff care programmes considering both proactive and responsive positioning, as well as other proven practices in caring for staff within various contexts and circumstances.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, human resources, counselling or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of humanitarian aid or development working experience.
  • Experience in developing wellness/resilience programmes on a national or regional level.
  • Experience in staff care / stress management in relation to contemporary challenges faced by INGOs.
  • Formal training or an applied working knowledge of various wellbeing support models (ex. CISM, PM+, PFA, MHFA.)
  • MHPSS or Mental Health professional experience.

Travel and Work Environment Requirement

  • Ability to travel up to 20%, including to areas that may be viewed as hardship
  • Position to be home based, anywhere where World Vision International is registered
