POSITION TITLE: Senior Specialist, IT Business Analytics
LOCATION: Remote, within the U.S.
DEPARTMENT: Information, Communications and Technology (ICT)
REPORTS TO: Associate Director, Project Management, ICT

Position Summary:
As a you’ll have the opportunity to apply Six Sigma principles to help us change the way we work! You will collaborate with functional leads from finance, human resources, operations, and programs business area on identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities while deploying collaboration solutions across the Globe. You will be utilizing and engaging with Microsoft SharePoint Online/ Teams/ OneDrive and other collaboration tools. In this capacity you must be able to see the big picture, effectively communicate to non-technical people and be able to apply their understanding of how processes should work to achieve operational efficiency.
The Senior Specialist, Business Analytics will be focused on requirements gathering, documentation management, policy, and procedure development, testing and training management and be part of exciting and challenging projects such as Power Platform solutions design and development, Project migration to the cloud, subawards management system development and a series of projects and initiatives deployed across the organization.
While this role may be located remotely in the USA, working hours are Eastern Standard Time, with most meetings starting at 7.30am EST to overlap with the Manila, Philippines Team.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current business processes, ongoing or one-time operational issues and active projects using operational metrics and reports and recommend optimization strategies.
Prepare business and technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and relevant business trends to support ICT and business strategic planning, initiatives and projects
Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team. Construct workflow charts and diagrams; study system capabilities; write specifications
Recommend controls by identifying problems, writing improved policies and procedures
Suggest changes to management using analytics to support team recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes. Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
Collect, define and analyze business and functional requirements, anticipate needs, uncover areas for improvement.
Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders. Assist with project progress monitoring by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
Develop, distribute and clarify use cases and scenarios during project’s implementation ensuring any challenges are understood.
Perform user acceptance testing as part of the project implementation effort
Provide support to end users for all processes, reports, financial models and dashboards
Design and conduct application audits and create customer feedback mechanisms to gather ongoing information about projects post implementation or business processes. Analyze results and create plans to address weaknesses.
Develop and support implementations of policy and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Strong understanding of Office 365 services: Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive
Skills: 5+ years of experience being a member of a business/functional analytics team.
Position Specific Skills
Full proficiency in preparing business and technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
Previous experience working as part of a project management team
Experience supporting Power Platform applications, especially Power Automate and Power Apps
Knowledge and understanding of business and process analysis best practices (e.g., Business Analysis Body of Knowledge v3), techniques and tools, and project management methodologies
Advance level experience with MS Visio, MS Project
Proven ability to work collaboratively with architecture, development to interpret requirements
Proven experience planning and facilitating current/future state analysis
Previous experience with standard operating procedures development and preparing documentation
Proven experience creating use cases, process maps, project plans, etc.
Experience supporting organizational and departmental process improvement
Experience with presenting ideas through presentations to a team of various levels of experience in ICT
Preferred Skills:
Hands on experience with Power BI
Experience in conducting training
Demonstrates initiative, a “can-do” spirit, ownership, meets commitment and delivers results
Excellent stakeholder management skills, proven ability to work with stakeholders at all levels to achieve company goals
Excellent ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, as well as the ability to work well in a demanding and dynamic environment with competing priorities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills (oral and written)
Required Travel: Willingness to travel to domestically or internationally
