Going beyond the software itself, we act as a strategic partner to our clients in all matters relating to the digital transformation of their wealth advisory services.

As part of a newly formed team, you will design, implement and maintain new services in a brownfield environment using the latest cloud-native technologies running on AWS and Kubernetes. You will work in a strong engineering team in close collaboration with product owners and business analysts in a modern agile setup. The teams and solutions are incubating and you have the unique chance to actively shape this path. We expect a highly motivated, smart and strong engineer with a passion for cloud-native technologies.

Tasks

  • Design, develop and maintain backend (micro-)services with a focus on software engineering
  • Seek continuous improvement, building resilience and quality into applications
  • Take initiative and ownership in finding solutions in your daily work
  • Build a strong collaboration with the frontend, business and product teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Spring Boot / REST API design
  • Excellent knowledge of Java or Kotlin, Python knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent understanding of Git, PostgreSQL and cloud software engineering
  • Very good understanding of cloud-native technologies and workflows
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, AWS is a plus
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Gitlab is a plus
  • Very good self-organization skills and ability to quickly prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong customer focus and used to work in agile teams
  • Fluent in English in combination with good working knowledge of German
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability and willingness to learn a lot
  • Background in Financial Services is a plus
