Senior Salesforce DeveloperI Job Purpose:Provide support in managing the design, installation, customization and maintenance of IT applications, systems and network based on end-users requirements, and identify technological opportunities to facilitate and contribute to the improvement of organizational information systems and applicationsII Key Responsibilities:APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT: Identify the requirements on business processes automation under the general guidance of reporting head; on its processes, architect and assist/execute in developing applications in-house or in coordination with third party vendors and ensure the availability of support to address bugs and defects related to these applicationsAPPLICATON CUSTOMIZATION: Review and customization of the applications based on end-users requirements and technological developments to support the business in an efficient manner.IT PROJECTS: Conduct feasibility studies and provide support in order to align any new developments to the existing IT infrastructure. Coordinate and participate in IT solutions related projects.COMMUNICATION: Execute the communication plans and documentation to inform users and relevant stakeholders of IT projects progress and to ensure end-users understanding of the implemented solutions with available support when neededTESTING: Conduct the test of adopted IT business solutions in order to identify potential problematic areas and make appropriate suggestion for improvement.SOLUTIONS IMPROVEMENT: Provide inputs for the improvement and advantage of applications. Conduct periodic review and analysis of the existing applications and follow up with concerned end-users to resolve any issue or conflict and enhance efficiency of these systems. Provide necessary documentation of the application along with security measures controls.SALESFORCE : Responsible for coordinating and implementing Salesforce product enhancements and defect fixes based on requirements gathered from internal stakeholders to address their Salesforce related needso Perform gap analysis, capabilities and requirementso Write design specifications within an agile development processo Identify and define the business needs and work to create the solutiono Assist in analysing plugins and add-onso Work with leads to develop new requirements into designs, development approaches and implementationo Design and develop workflows and assignment rules to automate manual processeso Build integration components to transition data from local systems.VENDOR SELECTION AND MANAGEMENT: Be part of the team in defining and securing agreements with vendors in order to optimize terms, conditions, quality and value for investment. Coordinate with the vendors for IT business applications development, maintenance and bug fixing, and manage the monitoring of SLAs and the evaluation of their performance to ensure adherence to the contracts/agreements termsREPORTS: Build and manage dashboards, views and reports. Submit timely and accurate reports to meet policies and standards, and department requirementsPOLICIES AND PROCEDURES: Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent mannerQHSSE: Ensure all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteedAD-HOC REQUESTS: Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by the direct managerIII Job Context:The job works in close coordination with key internal and external parties.Internal coordination with all divisions and business units is important for the understanding of application requirements, the provision of IT support and the collection of feedback on applications. External coordination with vendors / suppliers is needed for the development and customization of outsourced applications when it cannot be done in-houseIV Qualifications and Skills:Qualifications:Bachelor s degree in computer science or related disciplinesSalesforce Developer I CertificationSkills:AnalyticalAbility to write design specificationKnow-how on Business Process and Procedure,Technical Know-how in Application Customization/ Testing/Automating Workflow.Project ManagementVendor Analysis and SelectionReport GenerationListening skillsCommunicationRelationship managementCustomer service orientationTime managementFlexibilityInterpersonal AwarenessResponsibleTeam PlayerExperience:Minimum 5 years of experience in IT with significant experience in IT applications development, project management, knowledge of operating systems and softwareIn which, minimum 3 years of hands on development experience as a SFDC Developer with Sales and Service Cloud, including the use of data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, and Salesforce for Outlook)Knowledge of lightning components, XMLHands on development experience with Apex, Visualforce, Javascript, Eclipse IDE, Web services, API, SOAP, REST API, Process builder and Flows, Outbound Messaging, Reports and DashboardsExperience of any OOP (C#, VB.NET, Java etc.)
