Senior Sales Engineer – OMAN

Summary

We are looking for a technically broadly oriented technician who is familiar with measurement principles such as; flow, pressure, level, temperature, analysis measurement technique. The right person is also able to managing and growing service business in collaboration with sales teams with special emphasis on Commissioning, Verification/Calibration and Customer trainings. Ensure the service quality and efficiency of the service operations within the organization (incl. ASPs). Successful execution of service jobs with the help of service team and other regional supports available.

Role + Responsibilities:

  • Account development
  • Account planning
  • Segmentation of customers to EH Standards 206 and 203
  • Follow-up of quotations.
  • Budget TARGET responsibility.
  • Strategy implementation.
  • Activity planning and follow-up.
  • Understanding of customer needs.
  • Technical and commercial clarification (visit/phone/email/fax, etc.)
  • Negotiation of customer specific conditions.
  • Pricing. According to agreed conditions/own responsibility.
  • Utilization of complete E+H offering (products, services and solutions).
  • Customer networking.
  • Complaint management.
  • Work in team with other functions.
  • Competitor / Market information knowledge
  • Keep themselves updated with EH products and solution offerings at all times
  • Understand and obtain the data of the application, so a technology can be selected. Transfer customer information to Internal Sales for Quoting.
  • Support Finance with Net Sales – Invoicing issues when requested.
  • External focused, thus sales time in front of customer takes priority.
  • Timely follow up of quotations and responses to customers.
  • Knowledge of Endress+Hauser products and experience in Oman market will be an added advantage .

Qualifications + Profile

  • Bachelors in engineering/Technology o r equal level of course along with experience in Sales Management.
  • Minimum work experience of 10 years is met.
  • Familiarity with requirements and specifications of O&G, Petrochemical, Power, Water and Wastewater industries as well as government and independent organizations.
  • Experience with MS Word, MS Excel necessary.
  • Needs to work on Digital Work Place and CRM – Salesforce.
  • Driving license in Oman is an added advantage.
