We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Revenue Accounting organization based out of our Santa Clara office. In this role, you will collaborate with Sales, Operations, IT, Corporate Development and FP&A to ensure accurate and complete accounting for cloud services, multiple element arrangements, e-commerce and other revenue streams. As an integral member of the Revenue Accounting team, you will be responsible for providing relevant financial information that is both insightful and actionable and enables NVIDIA’s senior leaders to make effective business decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Track, bill and reconcile revenue for cloud-based gaming services and work with Sales and FP&A to model new offerings.
  • Oversee maintenance of multiple element accounting systems.
  • Assist with integration of acquired entities into the order-to-cash process.
  • Build strong partnerships within FP&A, Sales and Operations to assess and launch new product offerings.
  • Delegate and oversee work performed by individuals in our shared resource center.
  • Perform periodic analysis of stand-alone selling prices for existing and new products.
  • Ensure timely execution of month-end and quarter-end activities including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and applicable disclosure schedules.
  • Identify and support continual process and procedure improvements.
  • Assist in the company internal/external audit.
  • Work on IT projects for system implementations and enhancements.
  • Support other ad hoc projects in the Revenue Accounting team.

What We Need To See

  • Bachelor’s degree from a leading university in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ year of public accounting and/or related industry revenue accounting experience
  • Detailed accounting knowledge of ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in financial analysis and/or business modeling
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently
