Senior Research Executive

We are looking for a  Senior Research Executive with at least two years of relevant experience in research to join our growing team in the UK & Ireland.

You do not need to have a degree to apply for this role. You will mostly be working remotely in this role and you will need to have a good internet connection at home. You must be living in the UK or Ireland, as you will also be expected to travel at times. However, given the current situation, there won’t be much travelling for now.

Ideally, we are looking for someone to start on June 7th 2022, however, if you have a notice period that needs to be completed we can discuss this.

Please note this is a one-year contract (with the possibility to be extended to a permanent role).

Key Responsibilities
As one of our Senior Research Executive, you will be responsible for working with and supporting the Research Manager to ensure that projects are delivered to an exceptional standard for our clients and partners. You will take a lead on the research design, data collection and analysis for a portfolio of our projects.

Capable of:

  •  Using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  •  Using google docs
  •  Designing and conducting qualitative analysis approaches, including discussion guides and participatory methods
  •  Conducting qualitative analysis of data conducted through interviews, focus groups, workshops or other methods
  •  Conducting literature reviews 
  •  Carrying out desktop research, using a range of methods and sources of data
  • Desirable: Designing and conducting reliable and quantitative data collection and large scale quantitative research studies, including sample design, questionnaire design, and analysis plans
  • Desirable: Carrying out quantitative statistical data analysis of existing secondary data sets and primary quantitative data, using Excel and/or SPSS
  •  Organising, designing and carrying out qualitative fieldwork, often with marginalised or vulnerable people, in different locations and contexts across the UK
  •  Working closely with others as part of a team and with external stakeholders to manage relationships and deliver work
  •  Making sure our work is participatory, including working with peer researchers and valuing the importance of communicating with different audiences
  •  Taking responsibility for data and project management and administration as it relates to delivering work
  •  Delivery of particular work strands relating to our research. This will include taking personal responsibility for key elements of work as well as supporting others in the team
  •  Presenting data in an engaging way
  •  Report writing
