TITLE: Senior Regional Change & Deployment Analyst

TEAM/PROGRAMME: Change & Deployment

LOCATION: Any office within WCA RO

GRADE: TBC

CONTRACT LENGTH: 2 years

CHILD SAFEGUARDING:

Level 2: either the post holder will have access to personal data about children and/or young people as part of their work; or the post holder will be working in a ‘regulated’ position (accountant, barrister, solicitor, legal executive); therefore a police check will be required (at ‘standard’ level in the UK or equivalent in other countries).

ROLE PURPOSE:

Engaging with the project team, WCA regional office and all country offices within the region, the Senior Change & Deployment Analyst enables country level deployment activities for designated HPO project.

Change & Deployment activities include: Conducting country office kick off meetings, conducting Change Impact Assessments and Stakeholder Analysis, Change planning, conducting comms and engagement activities, coordinating key project activities such as User Acceptance Testing and Training, completing Business Readiness Assessments, conducting Post Go-Live review and transitioning offices to business as usual. They will also be responsible for managing the French translation of all project and change deliverables.

The Senior Change Analyst will regularly need to engage with senior stakeholders – both at the regional and country office level – in order to complete the required change activities.

The Senior Change & Deployment Analyst is part of the Change and Deployment (C&D) Team that enables the timely implementation of new supporting systems and business processes, across the 55 SCI country offices, the 5 Regional Offices and the Centre.

SCOPE OF ROLE:

Reports to: Regional Change Manager

Staff reporting to this post: No direct reports

Budget Responsibilities: None

Role Dimensions:

  • Reports functionally to the WCA Regional Change Manager
  • Works closely with the Global Change Managers to ensure alignment between the Priority Project plans and the local implementation requirements
  • Close co-operation with the project teams, process owners and Management Team Members of the countries and the region
  • Frequent sound boarding with all members of the C&D Team on progress, issues and approach
  • Ownership over key activities for the C&D team across the region – for example, translation of all deliverables

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educated to degree level / equivalent work experience

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Essential:

  • Change Management delivery experience ideally supported by Change Management certification / training
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills including experience and expertise in engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation including senior stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication skills (written & oral English), including the ability to communicate and present to different types of audiences with different levels of understanding of the subject matter
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate/mediate; to facilitate the resolution of conflicting business requirements
  • Proven process/workflow analysis skills
  • Understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies
  • Proven experience in facilitating productive workshops, preferably in multi-cultural contexts
  • Excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise the workload across a number of different workstreams/projects
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and able to take the initiative and ownership to deliver value to the business
  • Cultural awareness
  • Ability to challenge the user-friendliness of set up, requirements and design for implementation and regular usage
  • Experience of solving issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy in
  • Affinity, knowledge and experience of working within a standardised project methodology
  • Experience of working in Feasibility and Design Phases of support systems and business processes projects
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • True passion for results, responsibility and proactivity
  • Competent in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 40%
  • Full Professional Proficiency in both French and English

Desirable:

  • Understanding of Fleet related processes (vehicle allocation, cost recovery mechanisms, mileages use recharges) is highly desirable
  • A third language. Preferably Portuguese
  • Non-profit sector knowledge/experience (especially international development projects)
  • Experience in working with off-site project team members
  • Experience of delivering solutions internationally
  • Awareness of various software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)
