As our benefits enrollment platform gains more traction and continues to grow, so too does our team. For that reason, we’re seeking a Senior Recruiter to develop and execute our hiring strategies for key roles that will drive top-performing talent into the organization. You’ll be working with leaders throughout the company to hire across teams and at all levels. You’ll be critical to building the candidate’s experience from when they hear about Stride through their onboarding into the company.

We are a growing yet still small team (50+ employees) and believe in how small teams work – iterating and learning quickly. Since we’re small, we can guarantee you’ll be doing a little bit of everything here. You love to bring creativity to your work to find top talent, love teaching others and helping your team succeed, and find satisfaction in building a company one quality hire at a time.

Here’s an example timeline of your first year at Stride:

Within 1 month you’ll…

  • Meet your new teammates, learn what they do and what makes Stride a special place to work
  • Learn about our core values, mission, vision, and company goals
  • Dive into our hiring forecast to understand which parts of our organization are expanding, on what timeline, and what types of roles we’re looking to hire
  • Begin defining and implementing pieces of a more cohesive and structured hiring process for key roles
  • Work with Hiring Managers and Recruiter to define the first 2-3 key roles for hiring, and begin sourcing candidates
  • Help refine our public company profiles on recruiting sites like LinkedIn, Indeed, etc. to build transparency into our company, culture and benefits

Within 3 months you’ll…

  • Be introduced to a mentor/advisor in your field who can help further your career and shortcut some of the challenges you face in your job
  • Develop deep relationships with key hiring managers and executives, helping flesh out hiring needs and org designs to make the most effective hires
  • Work closely with our executive team and Talent leadership to develop and refine our Talent Acquisition strategy and core initiatives
  • Hire 3-5 top candidates into the organization for key roles across functions
  • Establish KPIs that measure the success of your hiring efforts across the organization

Within 6-12 months you’ll…

  • Lead core strategic initiatives for the Talent Acquisition team that both uplevel the function and your stature in the organization, as well as develop your leadership skills
  • Have healthy hiring processes established for higher-volume roles to predictably yield timely talent into Stride
  • Developed a deep strategy to drive diverse talent into our hiring processes, reflecting the diversity of the communities we serve
  • Be a valued and sought-after teammate in our company, someone both leadership and your teammates rely on to provide thoughtful insight into talent strategies, org design, and broader organizational and cultural issues
  • Feel excited to develop a growth plan for your next 6-12 months at Stride, and looking forward to growing your capabilities and furthering your career!
