Senior Recruiter (2 opportunities: 1 Technical Recruiter and 1 G&A Recruiter) – REMOTE

We have an opportunity to do something different – and we’re going to. If you obsess about the candidate experience, are a phenomenal communicator, have at least 4 years of recruiting experience (technical or G&A or a combination) in a technology company, ideally start-up, then please keep reading! If you have agency experience too – that’s a plus!

You already know this part snot going to spend too much time here – Recruiting is a key driver to SmartBiz Loans’ success. You love what you do. You understand the broader impact of recruiting, including the impact you have on people’s lives. You know that humanity is a vital part of your day – and you’ve learned how to build relationships (this is not transactional). Here’s where we will spend time: You will be the second recruiter on the team. You’ll be supported by a Recruiting Coordinator, who will spend 70% of their time scheduling, managing reporting, and analytics in our ATS – and then 30% of their time helping us build ‘top of funnel’ by being Social Media experts: LinkedIn, Glassdoor, HBCUConnect, Instagram, Twitter, Spotify – and all the other venues where we can share our mission and attract additional talent. This is your chance to make a huge impact on process and how we scale. You will be a trusted partner, more so a consultant, to hiring managers as you learn more about their teams, current strengths, and needs asscale. You’ll engage with candidates in a manner that is humane and personal – and every candidate who is engaged by Talent Acquisition will have a personal and exceptional experience that is representative of our brand. You’ll manage and drive a full recruitment cycle for Engineering (Technical Recruiter) or our Funding, Finance, Product, Marketing, and other Teams (if you’re the G&A Recruiter). If you haven’t already honed these skills, you’ll learn how we open requisitions and conduct our intake and debrief meetings, how we do compensation benchmarking and how to articulate our philosophy.

How You Will Make An Impact:

  • Scale our teams by leading the full-cycle recruiting process by creating robust pipelines through active sourcing of multiple channels, screening resumes, interviewing, and closing candidates; you typically manage at least 10 requisitions simultaneously, know how to block time for sourcing and interviewing, and also spend time building relationships – new onemaintaining existing ones.
  • Source, test, and engage with platforms such as BambooHR, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, AngelList, Greenhouse/Lever…
  • Consistently communicate with candidates, hiring managers, and teammates – know your audience and cater your communication style to enhance and elevate the relationships
  • Partner with the People team to create a smooth transition for candidates from offer acceptance to becoming a team member
  • Consistently analyze the recruitment process to offer improvements and changes needed to evaluate and measure success

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of recent full-cycle recruiting, ideally a combination of agency and corporate experience, and in a fast-paced high tech environment
  • Relentless drive to find and connect with the best talent
  • Proven experience in building and managing a diverse pipeline
  • Ability to effectively multitask and take on a vari roles with differing complexity across different functions while leading initiatives to continue driving a fantastic candidate/stakeholder experience
  • Ability to work efficiently (and effectively) with a small recruiting team in a growing organization
