National Trust
This is a fixed term contract due to end when the previous employee returns from maternity leave. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 12 months.
What it’s like to work here
Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll be part of the Visitor Experience & Programming team, working across the whole of the North Coast portfolio. No two days are the same, with lots of variation in the role depending on the activities and partner plans for any given week.
You will cover all of the North Coast, from idyllic Cushendun to the iconic Mussenden Temple, with Whitepark Bay & Portstewart nestled in between; focusing on programming and partnerships development at each of our places.
You’ll use your event and financial management, experience working with partners and love creating brilliant experiences for the community and visitors.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll lead on delivery of all of our programming activities across the portfolio, including seasonal offers of Christmas, Halloween, Easter & Summer. Working closely with colleagues throughout the portfolio, you’ll ensure the delivery is smooth operationally, departments feel involved and objectives are met. Sometimes the focus for our programming will be to increase growth of our visitor numbers or commercial output, other times it will be more focussed on the connections we can make with our visitors and how engaged they feel.
You’ll work in collaboration to grow existing partnerships and networks, and to build new ones locally which will help design and support delivery of activities as well as progress the work we have been doing to make sure the places we care for are accessible and welcoming to our varied audiences.
