What will you do?

Magnolia is a digital experience platform that’s made for real-world needs. It is a central platform that helps enterprises create fully integrated customer experiences and speeds up digital delivery for content creators.
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who will take our current Product UI to the next level and deliver outstanding design solutions for our users. You will think up, execute, and oversee the design development of the product from conception to release. You possess the know-how to balance amazing user experiences with an understanding of user behavior and success through user research and insights. You’re equally comfortable in synthesizing our users’ needs and pain points as well as delivering artifacts and prototypes. You’re the one who brings projects from concept to completion and ensures their success.
Being a design enthusiast, advocating and committing to building up a design culture from scratch is the essence of this role. If you find yourself excited by this opportunity, you are who we need. As a member of the Product Design team, you are motivated to help establish design processes as well as move the needle toward a user-centric approach.

Your responsibilities:

• Discover, validate, and prioritize product opportunities together with product managers and tech leads.
• Design new features and usability improvements following a design process from discovery to release.
• Drive collaborative design processes with interdisciplinary teams.
• Drive and execute validation with customers.
• Lead and evaluate usability testing.
• Deliver usable and feasible design solutions for development teams and prepare hand-overs for implementation in an agile environment.

What do you bring in?

• 5+ years of experience designing cloud services and digital products in an agile environment.
• Ability to translate requirements and synthesize insights from research into desirable, viable, and feasible solutions.
• Experience in qualitative user research and user testing.
• Great collaboration and communication skills as well as experience working with different teams and roles.
• Experience in contributing, reviewing, and integrating new features (components, patterns, guidelines, etc.) into a design system.
• Experience working with Figma and delivering low-fi and high-fi prototypes.
• When faced with limits and ambiguity, you become more – not less – creative.
• You’re a collaborator who also loves to challenge others and make your ideas better.
• You’re no stranger to driving, defining, and leading innovative initiatives from the discovery to the delivery phase.
