Bridgestone Mobility Solutions
You will facilitate acceleration towards microservices and DevOps world, based on PaaS and automation first principles. We appreciate your substantiated expertise on technical topics (multi/hybrid-cloud architecture, GitOps, CI/CD) and your willingness to bring in deep knowledge of concepts and patterns for providing a base for our core business products.
You will influence our software development teams and help them achieve high quality goals for services that need to be migrated to or created in K8s.
Here’s a little taste of your challenges:
- Develop and maintain Kubernetes-based cloud platform
- Taking full responsibility for the platform and being part of the on-call team for the platform
- Work with tools and technologies like Kubernetes, Terraform, Rancher, ArgoCD and Azure
- Support Kubernetes Operators for Kafka, Postgres and more
- Evaluate and align on alternative solutions
- Facilitate design decisions within the constraints of systems designs, design standards, quality, costs, feasibility, extensibility and maintainability
- Handle security aspects and help to create shift-left culture inside the company
- Challenge and influence our Cloud Transformation strategy with a common understanding for Kubernetes and public cloud services
Who are you?
- You are enthusiastic about new technologies and cloud
- You easily get into complex structures of grown dependencies and heterogenous software components
- You are highly motivated to innovate and transform existing solutions to fit the current development needs and overcome obstacles on the way
- You have experience with conceptual work as a software/system engineer
- Your communication skills in English are excellent
- You enhance discussions with your personal interests and topics
