About The Team

Centralized Operations is the nerve center of Careem, with responsibility for managing the onground supply operations for all Careem verticals, across the 13 markets in MENA. You would work closely with the Head of Centralized Operations, to build platform level view for the operations strategy that could enable our future operations to support all our services/other ecommerce players, to steer governance and implementation of Careem’s Operations annual strategy, while owning the PMO function within the operations organization. This role is ideal for someone who has a structured approach to managing processes, problem solving, deliverables

and any agenda, can navigate through complexity of multi-business, multi-market set-up and is adept at stakeholder management.

What You’ll Do

• Own and Manage the Strategy & PMO function within Centralized Operations team

○ Support Head of Operations within the Central Ops org in Strategy planning & alignment exercises; refine and bring strategic focus on key and high-impact initiatives, challenge assumptions etc.

○ Drive operations strategy for Careem by understanding the macro realities of markets and business lines. This includes, but not limited to, scouting for ideas outside Careem.

○ Create business cases and financial models for operations supported by data and analytics.

○ Develop short- and long-term strategic plans for operations in line with our SuperApp vision while ensuring different business lines have Careem’s local maxima prioritized.
