Sr. Product Manager ��������� Product Transformation and Simplification (Fiber)

Overview

This manager will be charged with driving Frontier���������s successful transformation of the Consumer Fiber product portfolio through simplification and on-going customer migrations. They will be responsible for organizing and leading a strategic cross-functional team to develop and implement simplification and standardization tactics impacting billing, provisioning, retention, ordering, and product portfolio management. This role is responsible for reducing the complexity within the existing base of customers, but also to define strategies and techniques to assure future complexity is prevented.

You are a highly successful customer-focused manager that has deep product knowledge, strong operational experience, and is a highly effective collaborator that can lead matrix managed tee at speeds that some find uncomfortable and yet, you do so in a thoughtful methodical manner that brings everyone into the journey. You have an extensive network that can be called upon to aid in your mission, if/when suitable opportunities arise. You are comfortable working with complex data, systems and are detailed oriented which allows you to create targeted strategies that are effective and mitigate risk for both the company and our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive simplification plan across all Consumer Fiber products (voice, data, TV, security) to aggressively migrate customers to new standardized product offers/price points.
  • Leverage complex data analysis and modeling to drive informed customer decisions and strategies.
  • Develop and align on an integrated roadmap for product and service enhancements. Responsible for creation and oversight of the detailed plan to migrate targeted cohorts and to consolidate and eliminate legacy Fiber products.
  • Champion efforts to standardize operating procedures and technology protocols to assure future objectives for simplification are sustainable and executed effectively. This includes but is not limited to: Copper to Fiber migration strategies, future offer development, retention applications etc.
  • Build and lead a cross functional team to set strategy and timing of simplification initiatives.
  • Partner with Marketing, Retention, Product and Go to Market teams to assure coordination and effective communication with customers.
  • Gain alignment with Legal and Regulatory teams to enforce compliance.
  • Align with IT and Engineering on system/network capabilities. Write new business requirements as needed to facilitate strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate with Care (Service, Tech Support and Field Operations) to ensure the organization is trained and informed on customer impacting migrations.
  • Focus on the product experience by ensuring a future path for managing functionality changes/improvements and pricing for new and existing customers.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to develop and institute post-production testing to ���������inspect what we expect��������� as a result of product consolidation and customer migration efforts.
  • Ensure Revenue Assurance and operational expenses are optimized to sustain current/planned goals and targets. Assist with forecasting and budgets as requested.
  • Coordinate across the business to drive resolution to roadblocks and/or to champion enablers for success.
  • Serve as point of escalation, internally or externally, to support customers and partners.
  • Evangelize and champion Frontier���������s network evolution mission, purpose, and needs internally and externally.
  • Document and communicate standards to reinforce simplification strategies and on-going adherence companywide.
  • Other duties as applicable.

Reporting to the Vice Presoduct (Simplification), this position is a highly valued member of the Product organization and works collaboratively with the Consumer Leadership Team (CLT), cross-functional partners, suppliers, and agencies to meet Frontier���������s objectives. Frontier������ provides communications services to urban, suburban, and rural communities in 25 states.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 10+ years experience in telecom industry, with strong technical, financial, and business acumen
  • Intimate knowledge of network topologies, Consumer products and services, and migration strategies to support simplification of product portfolio
  • Strong systems acumen with understanding of how ordering, billing and provisioning systems operate.
  • Analytical, independent thinker with ability to lead in a matrixed managed environment
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to connect and relate to all internarnal stakeholders quickly and credibly
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a passion for delivering the optimal customer experience while making the best use of Frontier���������s technology.
  • Understanding of customer needs, product functionality and Frontier���������s capabilities to deliver optimized end-to-end product management
  • Proficient at using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook.
