For Lummus Novolen Technology GmbH in Mannheim/ Germany we are looking for a Senior Manager Finance to join our Finance team at the earliest date possible.

The Role/ Responsibilities

In this role you are the first level contact for operational matters within the finance organization of Novolen and regional statutory and legal entity financial topics. This includes P&L, Balance Sheet, budgeting and forecasting responsibility. In close collaboration with your team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Lummus financial procedures at all times, as well as statutory compliance (HGB).

  • Finance Business partner to Novolen operations
  • Finance representation in Risk Review Committee meetings, Bid Strategy meetings, Contract reviews, Project reviews
  • Maintain in-depth insight into balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and all other financial statements for the Novolen BU and the smaller regional setups
  • Review of Flash, Closings, JDE, Hyperion and others, as required, including the appropriate commentary
  • Oversight of Direct Cash Flow reporting and analysis against indirect Cash Flow Forecasting
  • Review and approve Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Journal Entries
  • Participate in establishing, modifying, documenting and coordinating business and financial procedures
  • FP&A responsibility for the Novolen BU and region, as applicable: Budgets, Forecasts, Variance analysis
  • Perform any other projects or tasks as the Sr. Regional Director Finance may determine from time to time

Qualifications

  • Master´s degree in Finance
  • At least seven years of international experience, including a supervisory role, preferably in a Project environment. Understanding of USGAAP and IFRS accounting principles
  • Understanding of international taxation principles and associated statutory implications
  • Understanding of and experience with business performance measurement and application of corporate finance metrics (e.g. EBITDA, Free Cash Flow, NPV and IRR)
  • Change management process experienced
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to the extent that streamlining interfaces, ad-hoc reporting and automation of work processes can be facilitated in a changing system environment: Digital solution seeking, highly experienced in IT solutions, including MS Power Apps
  • Prior experience in using a financial ERP system including G/L, A/P, A/R and Projects
  • Independent worker with hands-on mentality, flexible time management due to time zone conflicts
  • Fluency in English and German, culturally open
  • Open to occasional international travel
